Where Good Times and Great Drinks Meet
At the heart of Church Village since 1703, The Farmer’s Arms is a traditional Welsh pub known for its warm hospitality, award-winning real ales, and vibrant community spirit. With a cosy interior, large split-level beer garden, regular quiz nights, live music and regular food pop-ups, it’s the perfect place to relax, socialise, and enjoy a great pint (or bite!) in good company.
The pub is also host to regular bookings for events such as birthdays, engagement parties, baby showers and funerals. Our talented staff create a delicious in-house buffet that is optional for all events held in, or out, of the pub. Please get in touch if you’d like to book a buffet or our cottage area for your event.
The pub has a car park to the back of the building and plenty of parking spaces along the road, with disabled access through the cottage. We are also dog friendly!

Drinks & Ales
At The Farmer’s Arms, we’re dedicated to being a true cask-ale and real-ale pub, proudly CAMRA-listed and Cask Marque accredited — a mark of excellence in beer quality and cellar care.
Our bar features a rotating selection of three guest ales, meaning there’s always something new to try. You’ll often find popular favourites such as Wye Valley among our changing lineup, along with a wide choice of lagers, ciders, wines, and premium spirits to suit every taste.
Our regular visitors and reviewers alike praise our beer quality and the warm service that our wonderful staff provide. We pride ourselves on serving quality drinks in a relaxed, friendly setting.
Events
There’s always something happening at The Farmer’s Arms! From our popular quiz nights to food pop ups and live music weekends and celebrations in the beer garden, we bring the community together with great entertainment, good company, delicious new foods and plenty of beer!

We also enjoy hosting different live singers most weekends. These are always advertised on our social media pages.
Food Pop Ups
We aim to host different street food pop ups and kitchen take overs every weekend, with a bank holiday food festival in late Summer! From tacos to pizza and even Sri Lankan feasts, we love to provide you with a variety of delicious options to accompany your pints!
Quiz Nights
Our quiz night takes place every Tuesday 9-11pm and we love to see new faces joining us on the night!
